Free CEU and Dinner at Avon Place

Avon Place invites local Nurses and Social Workers to join us for a free CEU event focused on end-of-life care. Participants will receive 1 hour of credit.

Reverend Chuck Behrens, Hospice Spiritual Care Coordinator, will illustrate the powerful phenomena of “Holding Space” with a patient or loved one during their end-of-life process. This session will help define this significant intervention, illustrate its effectiveness, and identify the components that lead to a more comforting, peaceful death.
